Nathan Hale
The Nathan Hale Veterans Outreach Center was named after a Revolutionary War hero Nathan Hale who was an ordinary man that made an extraordinary sacrifice for our country. Nathan Hale was a soldier for the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. Widely considered America's first spy, he volunteered for an intelligence-gathering mission, but was captured by the British. He is best remembered for his speech before being hanged following the Battle of Long Island, in which he said, "I only regret that I have but one life to give for my country.”

HALE TO THE ARTS Psychotherapeutic Arts Program ~ Free for Local Veterans and Spouses
Art Therapy is recognized as a valuable tool for healing the mind and coping with traumatic injuries, such as the hidden wounds our troops are suffering from as a result of curb side bombings.
The purpose of this program is to improve and maintain mental health and emotional well being of our brave men and woman who have unselfishly given so much for our Nation and her civilians who will not forget them. Hale to the ARTs
The Hale to the Arts program offers a number of free programs to veterans: * Painting classes hosted bylocal artists * Meditation and Reiki sessions * Whale watching trips and outings * Karate offered by Peter McKrae School of Karate * Yoga practice offered by the Sanctuary of Plymouth * Massage Therapy with Jennifer Savage
OTHER SERVICES
The Nathan Hale Veterans Outreach Center also provides Mental HealthCounseling, Family Counseling for families of returning veterans and a cultural program called Hale to the Arts, which provides veterans with various means of relaxation, self esteem building activities and helps provide a welcoming social atmosphere in a small group setting.
We provide Veterans with free transportation to and from medical appointments. Our schedule: Transportation Schedule
